Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, whose country holds the current rotating presidency of the European Union, on the sidelines of the Egyptian-European summit.
President El-Sisi and the Belgian Prime Minister reviewed means of enhancing relations between the two countries, as well as Egyptian-European ties, in addition to the situation in the Gaza Strip and the need to reach a ceasefire.
The President and Prime Minister De Croo stressed the gravity of invading the Palestinian city of Rafah and the ensuing catastrophic humanitarian repercussions.
