General/ Abdel Mageed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Minister of Defense and Military Production, attended the graduation ceremony of the 166th Class from the Faculty of Reserve Officers, named after Major General/ Ibrahim Mohamed Nosouhi in recognition of his contributions throughout his career in the Armed Forces. Lieutenant General/ Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several governors, commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces, former directors of the Faculty of Reserve Officers, as well as public figures, media representatives, and the families of the graduates attended The graduation ceremony.
The ceremony began with a display of athletic skills and martial arts, showcasing the combat proficiency, physical strength, and high skills acquired by the cadets during their time at the faculty. This was followed by a demonstration of technical skills with weapons and a presentation of various innovations and technical research conducted by the cadets, aimed at keeping pace with the ongoing scientific advancements in various fields. The displays concluded with a military parade featuring groups of cadets led by flag bearers, with military band playing the Martyr’s Salute in honor of the nation’s fallen heroes.
After the graduation results were announced by the Dean of Academics of the faculty, the Director of the Armed Forces Officers Affairs announced the appointment decisions and awarded medals to the top graduates. General/ Abdel Mageed Saqr presented the Military Duty Medal, Second Class, to the top graduates, an honor approved by the President of the Republic in recognition of their outstanding performance during their studies at the faculty. Following this, the family of Major General/ Ibrahim Mohamed Nosouhi was honored, and the graduates recited the oath of allegiance.
Major General/ Bahaa El-Sayed Abdel Rahim, Director of the Faculty of Reserve Officers, delivered a speech emphasizing the support provided by the Armed Forces General Command and the availability of all scientific and cultural resources to prepare and qualify generations of cadets capable of fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, ensuring that the Armed Forces remain a strong shield protecting the nation and a steadfast fortress for its great people.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, General/ Abdel Mageed Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President/ Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, congratulating the graduates and their families on the efforts they made during their studies at the faculty. He affirmed that the Armed Forces spare no effort in providing all resources to build new generations capable of protecting the homeland and preserving its sanctities. He noted that the reserve officers represent one of the effective pillars of the combat efficiency of the Armed Forces due to their civil and military experiences, which qualify them to perform their duties in serving the nation and its Armed Forces to the fullest. He also pointed out that Egypt is moving towards a better tomorrow and a brighter future despite the regional and international challenges and conflicts surrounding it from all sides, emphasizing the necessity of always being prepared and ready, which can only be achieved through the minds and efforts of strong individuals who defend the nation and dedicate everything precious to keep its flag high.
