Foreign Minister participate in Arab ministerial meeting To end the tragedy of the Palestinian people

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Director of the Public Diplomacy Department, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, stated that Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry will head tomorrow November 4, 2023, to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to participate in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Qatar, and the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, with a view to coordinating efforts in order to halt the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip, put an end to Israeli attacks against Palestinian civilians, and working to secure immediate and sustainable flow of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
The Spokesperson added that the Arab meeting will be followed by a meeting of Arab Ministers with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken, which aims to convey the Arab position in an integrated and unified manner, which is represented in the priority of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, dealing with the deteriorating humanitarian situation, and then starting to address the root causes of the crisis, namely the continued Israeli occupation and the absence of a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause in accordance with international legitimacy terms of reference and the vision of the two-state solution.
