Media report: Conditions on the Egyptian Southern Front: Somalia awaits the arrival of Egyptian forces in “December” and the seizure of an arms shipment from Haftar’s Rapid Support Militia
Urgent and dangerous Blatantly hostile statements against Egypt; From Abyssinia supported by Israel and the terrorist Rapid Support militias supported by the UAE, Russia and Libya!!!
Events have developed strongly on our southern strategic borders, which face the most serious existential threat since the end of the era of British occupation… on multiple fronts, as we see in the following report:
.
Cairo – Amr Abdulrahman – Media Agencies
.
Libyan arms shipments and the rapid support attack
.
In conjunction; A strongly worded statement was issued by the Rapid Support Militia, accusing Egypt of supporting Sudanese forces.
.
The statement accused (a party supporting the Sudanese army) of being responsible for the bombing of the Rapid Support sites in “Camp Karari” and the killing of (4) thousand of its forces who were preparing to leave for Saudi Arabia to participate in the joint forces with Saudi Arabia and the UAE – within the “Decisive Storm” operations!
.
It appears that the bombing directed at the Rapid Support militia came in response to their capture of officers and soldiers from (the supporting party) and the destruction of its aircraft at the Marawi military base, which was affiliated with the Sudanese Armed Forces before the terrorist coup.
.
On the other hand: The intelligence services of the Sudanese Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Joint Forces, succeeded in seizing a large shipment of weapons intended for the terrorist Rapid Support militia.
.
It set off from the Libyan city of Benghazi, and was loaded with 4 huge tractors, shipped by a Libyan person named Mahmoud Al-Shami, who supervises these operations.
.
The shipment included more than 10,000 various weapons, and huge amounts of ammunition for medium and heavy weapons, according to sources including: the official Al-Sudani newspaper.
.
Secondly| On the Somali front:
Within the framework of the results of the recent tripartite summit between Egypt, Somalia and Eritrea; Somalia accepted Egypt’s offer to deploy peacekeeping forces in Somalia, as part of a security partnership, following the end of the mandate of the African Union peacekeeping forces next December.
.
Ethiopia occupied airports and armed Somaliland
.
The Somali president accused Ethiopia of wanting to establish a naval base in the Gulf of Somalia or the Sea of Aden in order to be a dominant power in the region.
He stressed that the “separatist state of Somaliland” is an internal Somali problem and Ethiopia has no right to interfere in it, adding that “the United Nations, the European Union, and the African Union have not recognized it, and there is no legitimate basis for Ethiopia to recognize it.”
.
Explaining that after the signing of the Ethiopian agreement with the “Somaliland” state, it provided the tribes in the border areas with weapons, and occupied the airports before receiving the Egyptian forces, and this is a violation of international laws and treaties.”
He revealed that “no Egyptian forces arrived in Somalia,” adding that “Egypt supports Somalia, trains our security forces, and supplies us with the equipment we need, and there are no Egyptian soldiers in Somalia.”
.
Third| The Renaissance Dam file – an Ethiopian verbal attack:
Yassin Ahmed, head of the Ethiopian Public Diplomacy Institute in Sweden, claimed that Egypt’s interference in Somali affairs represents a threat to regional stability in the Horn of Africa region.
.
He told the Ethiopian News Agency, “Egypt is unable to contribute to maintaining peace in its neighboring countries such as Sudan and Libya, and it cannot even protect its borders from threats,” as he put it.
.
The unfair Entebbe Agreement and the drought storm
.
This comes amid fears about the results of the signing of the Entebbe Agreement, which excluded Sudan and Egypt, in a clear threat to its national water security, amid a clear climate change that carries with it manifestations of creeping drought on the land of Egypt.
.
The controversial agreement was approved by the countries: South Sudan (which was an ostensible ally of Egypt!) along with Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Burundi!
.
In a comment to Radio Seb-utnik International from the expert in African affairs, Rami Zohdi, he stated that the “Entebbe” agreement threatens the historical share of Egypt and Sudan.
.
It calls for equal parity between the Nile Basin countries, without taking into account the population of each country.
.
It also demands that Sinai be removed from the framework of benefiting from the waters of the Nile River, as it is part of the continent of Asia and not of the continent of Africa!
Zuhdi stressed: “It is not possible to equate the upstream countries that enjoy waterways, smaller rivers and heavy rainfall, with the downstream countries at the end of the river.”
