President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discusses supporting Sudan’s security and stability with the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received in the city of New Alamein, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council.
The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated Yesterday, that the President affirmed, during the meeting, Egypt’s great pride in its historical bonds and deep bilateral relations with Sudan at the official and popular levels, stressing Egypt’s firm and firm position to stand by Sudan, and support its security, stability, unity and territorial integrity, especially during the current delicate circumstances.

The official spokesman added that the meeting witnessed a review of developments in the situation in Sudan, and consultations on efforts to settle the crisis in order to preserve the safety and security of brotherly Sudan, in a manner that preserves the sovereignty, unity and cohesion of the Sudanese state, and safeguards the interests of the brotherly Sudanese people and their aspirations for the future. The meeting also dealt with the developments of the course of Sudan’s neighboring countries, as the head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council welcomed this track, the first summit of which was held recently in Egypt. The talks also touched on discussing ways of cooperation and coordination to support the brotherly Sudanese people, especially through humanitarian aid and relief, so that Sudan can safely overcome the current crisis.
